Making and cancelling appointments
To make a first appointment, you can ring or text Mary or send an email to email@example.com. Please include your phone number in your email for ease of contact.
You can ask for a short introductory meeting at no charge. This takes about 15 minutes and is an opportunity to meet Mary in person and to discuss your needs and availability before you decide whether you wish to continue.
Once you have agreed a time that suits you, you will normally attend at that time each week. This time can be re-scheduled if necessary, with adequate notice.
If there’s an important reason why you cannot attend a session, you will need to let Mary know at least 24 hours in advance. She may be able to see you at another time that suits you both. If you cancel the session within 24 hours and do not make an alternative arrangement, or if you do not show up for your appointment, you will be expected to pay for the session.
Existing clients are asked to ring or text Mary if they wish to cancel or reschedule their appointments.
Mary asks all clients to give at least a week’s notice of finishing up so that there is proper time for a good ending and review. Longer notice is required of psychotherapy clients.
